Overview

Every harbour suite at Kruleni is built around the window. You get a full wall of glass, a balcony you can stand on with a coffee, and a bathroom that isn't hidden in a corner. The layout is simple: living space first, bedroom behind a sliding door, and a small desk that faces the water instead of the wall.

The block was renovated in 2023 with new glazing, blackout blinds and quieter air handling, so light comes in without the street noise. Beds are king or twin, linen is changed every third night unless you ask otherwise, and housekeeping works around your schedule rather than the other way around.

What you actually get

The suite isn't a room you pass through on the way to something better. It's the reason people book here, so we've spent the last few years fixing the small things: door handles that don't rattle, coffee that's ground on site, and a minibar with options you'd drink at home rather than a token bottle of water.

Balcony with a river view

Every suite opens onto a private balcony wide enough for two chairs. Face the Story Bridge or the Kangaroo Point cliffs depending on which side of the building you're on.

A bed set up for sleeping

King or twin, pocket-spring mattress, blackout blinds on every window. Pillow menu on request, and a quiet corridor outside so the 6am risers don't wake the 9am ones.

Kitchenette, not just a kettle

Half-size fridge, induction plate, sink and a cupboard with real plates. Good for a late dinner after a long day, or breakfast on the balcony before the city wakes up.

Work desk facing the water

Full-width desk, wired ethernet and fast wifi, USB-C charging on both sides. Video calls land better when there's something to look at besides a blank wall behind the laptop.

Booking a suite

From first enquiry to checkout

Booking a harbour suite is a five-minute job. Here's the round trip from enquiry to checkout, and what happens at each stage.

01

Pick a date and suite grade

Check the calendar for the nights you need, choose a grade, and hold the room with a 10% deposit. You'll get a booking reference by email within the hour.

02

Tell us what matters

Bed configuration, balcony side, early check-in, cot for a child. Add it to the booking notes and we'll confirm what's possible before you arrive.

03

Confirm and pay the balance

Three days before you arrive, the remaining balance goes through. If you need the payment closer to the date, tell us and we'll move it.

04

Check-in from 1pm

Come to the desk on level 9. Keys, wifi code and a short tour of the suite take about ten minutes. Check-in closes at midnight, so call ahead if you're landing late.

05

Settle in

Breakfast is served on level 10 from 6:30am to 10am. Housekeeping is flexible; put the sign out or leave a note and we'll come back when you're out.

06

Check-out and follow-up

Check-out is 11am, later if the room allows. Leave the key on the desk or hand it in, and we'll send the invoice the same afternoon.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Most of what people want to know before they book. If yours isn't here, call the desk or send an email and we'll answer it directly.

Ask a Question

Every suite faces the harbour side of the building, but the exact view depends on the floor. If you want the Story Bridge side, ask when you book and we'll confirm the suite number before arrival.

Small dogs up to 10kg are welcome in three ground-floor suites for a $40 cleaning fee. Larger dogs, and any dog on the harbour floors, we can't take, sorry.

Central Station is a four-minute walk along Ann Street. Brisbane Airport is about 25 minutes by train or 20 by taxi outside peak times.

The Harbour Deluxe and Harbour Residence rates include one parking bay. Standard suites can add a bay for $25 per night, subject to availability.

Breakfast on level 10 runs from 6:30am to 10am on weekdays and until 10:30am on weekends. It's included in every suite rate for two guests.

Yes. Stays over 14 nights are quoted separately with weekly housekeeping and a reduced nightly rate. Send us the dates and we'll put a quote together.
