Rooftop Events & Private Dining
A rooftop above Ann Street that seats 140 for a sit-down dinner or takes 200 standing for a launch. Menus built around Queensland produce, a kitchen that plates for the room, and a view of the skyline you don't have to describe to anyone who's already been up here.
Overview
The rooftop splits into three areas: a covered dining room for 80, an open terrace that takes another 60, and a small bar corner that works for 20. You book one, two or all three, and the layout changes to match. Catering comes from the same kitchen as the hotel restaurant, so nothing is trucked in from a supplier across town.
Weddings, product launches, board dinners, milestone birthdays. The space is flexible enough to take the lot, and we host one event per evening so your guests aren't sharing the rooftop with anyone else. Street access is off Ann Street, with a private lift straight to level 15.
What the evening looks like
You get the rooftop for one event per evening, not a slice of it. The kitchen, the bar and the floor staff all belong to your booking for that block, so nobody's waiting on a handover from the lunch service or sharing a bartender with the table next door.
One event per evening
No split bookings, no shared bar. Your guests arrive to a rooftop set up for them and go home with nobody else's event in the background photos.
A kitchen that plates on site
The rooftop has its own plating station and a small oven. Dinners are cooked in the main kitchen on level 9 and finished upstairs, so courses land hot and don't queue.
Timeline managed by one person
You get one coordinator from the first site visit to the last guest leaving. Same number to call, same person who knows the running sheet and when the speeches start.
Weather cover built in
The covered section of the rooftop seats 80 and closes in five minutes if the sky turns. Open-air seating shifts under cover without a scramble or a change of plan.
Pricing
Prices are for the venue, staff and a set menu. Drinks are calculated separately on consumption or by package. Minimum spend applies on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Our Process
How a booking runs from the first walk-through to the last guest leaving. Six steps, one coordinator, no handovers between departments.
Site visit
Come up to the rooftop and see the three areas set up. Your coordinator walks through capacity, access and timings, and answers questions before any paperwork is signed.
Proposal and quote
A written proposal covers the space, the menu and the bar options, with a quoted range based on the guest numbers you're expecting that evening.
Menu tasting
Taste the menu you're considering, with up to four guests, once the deposit is in. Changes can be made up to two weeks before the date.
Running sheet
Two weeks out, you and the coordinator build a running sheet: arrival, speeches, dinner, bar close. Everybody on the night works from the same one.
Set-up and rehearsal
The day before, or the morning of, the rooftop is laid out and lit for your event. Walk it with the coordinator and flag anything you want moved.
Event night and wrap
Your coordinator runs the evening from arrival to pack-down. The invoice and the itemised bar summary are sent within three working days.
Gallery
Rooftop shots across sit-down dinners, receptions and the space in daylight. Mostly daylight and evening set-ups, your arrangement can look different.

Ask a QuestionPlan your evening
Tell us the date, the guest numbers and what you're celebrating. We'll come back with the space options and a quote built around your numbers, not a template.
