Who we are and what this policy covers
Kruleni is a hotel operator based at 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book a room, enquire about an event, use our website or stay with us, and what we do with it afterwards.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. Where we deal with guests based in the European Union, we also follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for those guests. What information we collect
We only collect what we need to run a booking, deliver a service or keep the hotel safe. Most of it comes directly from you, either through the booking form, the enquiry form, an email or at the front desk.
- Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, arrival and departure dates, guest numbers and any requests you add to the booking notes.
- Payment details: the card type, the last four digits and the billing address. Full card numbers are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our own systems.
- Event information: contact names, company details, guest counts, menu choices and running sheets for events held on the rooftop.
- Website information: pages you visit, the browser you use and your approximate location. See our Cookie Policy for detail on this.
- On-property records: check-in and check-out times, key card activity, housekeeping notes and any incident reports.
How we use your information
We use your information to confirm and manage your booking, take payment, deliver the service you asked for and answer your questions. We also use it to meet our legal obligations, including guest registration and health and safety requirements.
Where you have given us permission, we may send you occasional information about the hotel, such as a seasonal rate or a new menu. You can stop these messages at any time by replying to the email or writing to the address above. We do not sell personal information to third parties and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
- We share booking details with housekeeping and the front desk so the room is ready when you arrive.
- We share payment information with our card processor to take and refund payments.
- We share event details with the kitchen and the events team for the night you have booked.
- We share information with authorities only where the law requires it, such as a valid police request or a public health direction.
How long we keep it
Booking and invoice records are kept for seven years to meet Australian tax requirements. Enquiry emails that never turn into a booking are deleted after twelve months. Event running sheets are kept for two years so we can answer questions about a past function. Key card data is deleted within thirty days of check-out.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it by law. You can also object to a particular use, such as marketing email, at any time.

Security and contact
We keep personal information on access-controlled systems, encrypt data in transit and restrict who inside the hotel can see it. Staff are trained on handling guest data and only see what their role requires.
